As an aspiring screenwriter/director/producer, I am beginning my journey into the wonderful world of story development and felt it was useful to begin reading some screenplays to help me find my voice. I subscribe to an excellent blog "Get into the Story" created by Screenwriter Scott Myers. As part of his Blog, he is hosting a "40 Days of Screenplays" challenge.  Beginning Monday, July 19th and each day through Friday, August 27th, participants will read one screenplay per dayEach day, participants will have the opportunity to comment and critique the screenplay, hopefully gaining insight and inspiration for own projects. Festival of Lights - English Bay - Spain

I had the pleasure of checking out the Celebration of Light last Saturday night at English Bay, which is just around the corner from where I live.

Spain put on an incredible show and the finale was spectacular! I can't wait to see Mexico on Wednesday, July 28th and China on Saturday, July 31st. The weather looks to be crystal clear once again!

After moving to Vancouver less than a month ago, I stand in awe of this city. There's so much going on and the opportunities seem endless. I am so happy with my new home.
